Tiger of a Lamb

Sometimes I see, I hear, I know
My country men laying their lives
For our common cause.
It shudders my entire soul
Like the pop corns in the oven
It touches me so strong that
Deep within me cries, “Rise Up!”

Sometimes I see, I hear, I know
My country men struggling their lives
For their private cause
It knocks out my entire limbs
Like the Popeye without spinach
It dismay me so strong that
Deep within me cries, “Leave it!

Sometimes I see, I hear, I hear
My, your ageds counting their days
For their final Go
It wakes up my beaten soul
As if spring comes to wake up the plants
It energizes me so much that
Deep within me cries, “I Must!”

Am I am a drifter? Yes! I Was, I am
but will I be and will you be? Remember
A tiger and a lamb reside in every one
Only a driving force is needed
Is it not high time to wake up
The tiger within us before it extincts?

Yours choking mother, TIBET

Beloved sons and daughters,
Grand sons and daughters
Come this mail to remind you Ooh..Uhh..
I remember and miss you all
My health is detrorating , Ohh..Uhh..
From the environment dilapidated
Tired and exhausted
Being sucked my best
By my invincible uninvited guest.

For 47 years
Have I been seeing my
Own kids suffering and dying silently
These UGs kill me softly
whatever I have,they snatched slyly

Oh! God!Why?

Is there a word “limit”?, I
And My kids suffer in
My own home! What an irony!

For how long!
For how long!
Do I have to suffer
For no fault of mine so far!

Well, How are my grand children
Hope they’ve not me,forgotten..
Let them not, not at all,
I see a beacon on them all,
Let them not be pampered too much,
For they may become weak couch
And I don’t want my kids
Weak and useless seeds!

Let each be a seasoned wood
Tough, talented, diligent and good.
Instill in them the will to
drink the entire ocean too.

Let each be a grand light,
showing others paths, right .
Let each be a doctor, dentist,
an architect,an engineer and a scientist,

For they are the future
For they are the builders
For they are the heirs
For they are the magic spell

To kick my uninvited guest completely,
Who have been killing me softly.
again and again,
Remind them my pain.

Let them not be lulled,
By the wind of change,
Let each be a mighty mount,
That resists in large amount.

In each there is a hearth
Before it goes out with earth,
Blow it for long,
Until it burns into strong
undying flame!
Till then, be united and
Ever willing to stand
And help one another, for
You all are made fine,
From each blood of mine.

Let each’s cry be other’s cry,
Let each’s joy be other’s joy!
Lastly but not the least
Remember that your mom exists
and is still alive at last
See you soon and fast
Yours (coughs) choking mother, TIBET.

To us
What rain is
For the hungry plants
That can’t live without your presence!

The one
Who can free
Us once and for all
From ever exploiting Chinese!

The one
We have been
Waiting days and nights
To see our long ailing TIBET!

You are
You are none
Other than the one
Very holy word called FREEDOM!

Those were the days

In my beloved school
When I used to wait
Wait for the teachers to give me presents!
Such joy unthinkable
I ran, I cried and I laughed
With my hands stuffed with Aloos and gems
To fill my tiny little belly.

Now is the time
Here in my Suja school
When I used to wait
Wait for the children to get my presents!
Such joy remarkable
I walk, I murmur and I smile
With my hands stuffed with books and pens
To tell my lovely I am happy.

Happy Children’s Day!

Changed version of Mark Anthony’s Speech. Sorry for the breach of copyright act. My feeling when I was teaching this lesson in the class.

Friends, world people and Countrymen, Lend me your ears
I come to bury the martyrs, not to praise them
The single act of self immolation they do lives after them
But the good is oft deterred with their bones
So let it be with the martyrs.

The noble Hu Jintao says, they are splittists
If it were so, it was a grievous fault
And grievously had they answered it.

Here under the leave of Hu Jintao and the rest
For Hu Jintao is an honorable men, so are they all, all honorable
Come I to speak in martyrs’ funeral.

They were my friends, compassionate and God fearing
yet Hu Jintao says they were terrorists
And Hu Jintao is an honorable man

They hath burned their own body not others
Did this in martyrs seem terrorist?
When the world carried guns and bombs
Our martyrs carried rosaries

Terrorists should be made of sterner stuff
Yet Hu Jintao says they were terrorists
And Hu Jintao is an honorable man

You all did see that in Tibet since 1959
Even after hellish acts of Hu Jintao and the rest
Not a single bullet was fired back. Were they terrorists?
Yet Hu Jintao says they were terrorists
And sure, he is an honorable man

I speak not to disprove what Hu Jintao says
But here I am to speak what I do know.

You all did love Tibet once not without a cause
What cause withholds you to speak for Tibet?

O judgment! Thou art fled to power and money
And men have lost their reason… bear with me;
My heart is there in Tibet with the martyrs,
And I must pause till it come back to me.

10th March

One more 10th March has come
Time to show we are Tibetans,
Otherwise forgotten because of our own chores,
In a land we cannot call ours.

Once again, marching down the streets
With our customary slogans and shouts
Showing our faces to the people,
We met the other day.

The same old long lecture, with sun pouring in
While digesting the giggles
The next door neighbors make
As if some fancy parade is on.

Reminding the same fellow Indians,
Whose ears are well used to
About Tibetan and the importance of this day,
Like a teacher doing a recapitulation!

And the next day is another picture
A total transformation, as if nothing
Happened the other day
When we nearly puffed our lungs out!

A good 52 years have rolled by
The same old streets, the same old market
Have been used to it, like
Any other local political demonstrations,
Fast begun, faster ended!

Time is running out for Tibet
People are dying in Tibet
Why can’t we understand!
Why can’t we all feel the pain,
And do something different!

Let everyday be 10th march
Making our voices heard loud and clear!

Even the mountains could have been moved by now, why not China!

The morning was unusual
Gloomy and dull
With it’s usual lustre lost
Sure sign of some sad news.

In no time heard the news
The news of our student’s death
A student who is young
Attacked by his prolong sickness.

Here in the hall
Prayers and offerings are done.
Everybody lamented ” so young”
“may his soul rest in peace!”.

Even before I recovered from
This undigested reality
And shocking news among
The already sad episodes in Tibet

Yet another 3 Tibetans immolated inside Tibet!
My tender heart can’t digest
Now the number is 20!

Oh God! What’s this now?
isn’t it time china do something
Why can’t they be moved

Even the mountains could have been moved by now.
Why not China?

Tibetans in Tibet, not one not two but scores self immolating
The whole world witnesses
Lives must be precious by all

Can’t the Chinese still not understand, why Tibetans take such extreme steps!
Even the mountains could have been moved by now!
